Day 1 Kingston, ON
From our local joining points, we meet our fellow travellers and start our Tall Ships adventure. We arrive in Kingston in mid-afternoon and meet a local guide for a tour of Fort Henry! Originally built in 1812, the Forts’ main purpose was to protect the British rights to the important St. Lawrence River! Tonight we are in Kingston. Dinner is included this evening. (D)

Day 2 Quebec City, PQ
As we continue eastward today we cross into Quebec and take time to tour the Jean Chretien Museum, where the amazing gifts he received from around the world, while his time as Prime Minister of Canada, are on display. We continue into the historic city of Quebec for some free time. (B)

Day 3 Campbellton, NB
Along the south shore of the St. Lawrence we pass through Riviere du Loup on our way to New Brunswick. We stop at Rimouski to tour the Empress of Ireland exhibit, where the largest Canadian Maritime disaster occurred when the Empress of Ireland sank after a collision in May of 1914. Tonight we are in Campbellton, NB. (B,D)

Day 4 Miramichi, NB
At Acadian Historical Village we discover what life was like in the early days of Canada, for the French Settlers in the New World. The fun & lighthearted Acadians thrived in the New World until the famous expulsion of these people starting in 1755. Tonight we are in the city of Miramichi, located at the mouth of the famous river bearing the same name. Dinner is included before we get to enjoy an evening of fun and laughter at an authentic Kitchen Party! (B,D)

Day 5 Charlottetown, PE
Anne Murray grew up in Springhill, Nova Scotia before starting her 40 year musical career. Today we visit the Anne Murray Centre to learn about this Canadian Icon’s life! Then on to Caribou where we board the ferry to cross to Canada’s charming Island Province, Prince Edward Island. Before travelling into Charlottetown, we tour the Macphail House at Orwell, the homestead of a great Canadian, Andrew Macphail, who joined the Army at age 50, after the outbreak of World War I and was knighted for his service. A guided tour of his Home will tell his incredible story and there will be time to stroll the beautiful gardens on your own. (B)

Day 6 Charlottetown, PE
A casual morning before we embark on a unique day of touring some very specialty businesses that have become an important piece of the Canadian story! First we visit the PEI Preserve Company, where owner Bruce McNaughton has created some incredible and unusual Jams & Jellies. Then a visit to Avonlea Village, created after the fictitious community in Lucy Maud Montgomery’s Anne of Green Gables. Here you can stroll the shops or take time for lunch. Next we visit Rustico Bay Sweater Company, famous for their typical Atlantic Canada wool sweaters. In mid afternoon we tour Deep Roots Distillery where many unique blends are created from their own Apple Orchard and many other fruits. There will be time to freshen up before heading out to Fisherman’s Wharf for a fabulous Lobster Supper! (B,D)
