OCT 19 to 26 2018

Day 1 Southern Ontario to Middletown, OH
Join our motor coach this morning as we travel to the border and cross into the United States. Our destination this evening will be Middletown, Ohio.

Day 2 Nashville, TN
A casual morning as we continue south into Kentucky and visit the Corvette Muse-um at Bowling Green. An exciting visit for Corvette lovers but famous for a sink hole that formed under the Museum in 2014 and took two years to fix and reopen. Then to Nashville, known as “Music City USA” and check into the Opryland Hotel for the next 3 nights! This evening we reboard the motor coach and head out as a group first for Dinner at the Nashville Palace, where Randy Travis was a dishwasher, then for the Grand Ole Opry Show. (B,D)

Day 3 Nashville
Today our focus is on Nashville, the new and the old! Included are visits to the Ryman Museum, second home of the famous Grand Ole Opry and the impressive Country Music Hall of Fame. This beautiful building is an incredible tribute to the history of Country Music. We visit the new Johnny Cash Museum. Since opening in 2013, the museum has received many accolades including the #1 Must Visit Museum for Music Lovers! Tonight, an included dinner at the Wildhorse Saloon. (B,D)

Day 4 Nashville
Following breakfast, we see the city with a local guide. This afternoon we make our way to Lynchburg for a firsthand look at another Tennessee icon, the Jack Daniel’s Distillery. On a guided tour of the distillery you will learn the complete story of their famous whiskey and hear some interesting stories about Mr. Jack. Lynchburg is a dry county, ever since prohibition, but you will be able to sample the hometown product. Return to Nashville late afternoon. Evening is free. (B)

Day 5 Memphis, TN
A casual morning before our departure from Nashville. We travel southwest to Hurricane Mills for a visit to the Loretta Lynn Museum. Step aboard Loretta’s Tour Bus, experience the Legend of Loretta Lynn through her extensive collection of memorabilia and awards in the 18,000 square foot Museum. Then on to Memphis, Tennessee, a city with a reputation for music. It was on Beale Street that music legend W.C. Handy created “the Blues”, an original American art form which was a blend of mournful ballads sung by slaves and the Dixieland Jazz of New Orleans. These stories and others will be shared during our Memphis city tour. We check into the beautiful Guest House Hotel for two nights and then enjoy an included Dinner at the Lafayette Music Room. (B,D)

Day 6 Memphis
See the sights of Memphis on a city tour before we visit the Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum. This comprehensive Museum brings the Memphis Music Story to life and tells of the musical pioneers of all backgrounds who, for the love of music, created the unique sounds that changed the cultural complexion of the music world forever. This afternoon we are off to the Graceland Mansion, the home of the “King of Rock and Roll”, the late Elvis Presley. Experience an unforgettable journey through the most famous rock ‘n’ roll residence in the world. This legendary rock ‘n’ roll pilgrimage will show you why Elvis “lives”. Enjoy the Mansion and grounds, two custom airplanes, automobile museum, and more! Finally we tour Sun Studios, where Elvis Recorded many of his greatest hits alongside Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis! (B)

Day 7 Indianapolis, IN
Too soon we must leave the music and shows behind as we travel northeast to our destination this evening in Indianapolis, Indiana. A farewell dinner has been planned. (B,D)

Day 8 Home
Following our included breakfast we continue north to Detroit. A stop at the duty free store before returning back to Ontario with an evening arrival at your joining point. We hope you have enjoyed your tour to some of Tennessee’s best loved musical cities. (B)
