Day 1 Kingston, ON
This morning we set out on a journey to explore two of our Nation’s capital cities- Ottawa our current capital and Kingston, former capital of the new Province of Canada. We travel through Prince Edward County along The Loyalist Parkway, a living monument to the Loyalist settlers. Lunch is included before continuing to The Lake on the Mountain. The lake is a natural curiosity with a constant flow of clean, fresh water, with no apparent source and sits 60 metres above Lake Ontario. We travel via The Glenora ferry across a portion of the Bay of Quinte where we once again join the Loyalist Parkway for a scenic drive along the water to Kingston. On arrival, we check into our hotel for some time to relax before we set sail aboard the Island Star for a delightful evening dinner cruise among the 1000 Islands. Enjoy the onboard entertainment topped off with a beautiful sunset as we cruise back to Kingston harbour. (L,D)

Day 2 Gatineau, QC
After an included breakfast, see the sights of Kingston with a local guide. Later we continue to Ottawa. Your afternoon will be spent at the Canadian Museum of History. As Canada’s most visited museum, you will discover the events, experiences, people and objects that have shaped the nation’s history. In the Grand Hall you’ll see the world’s largest indoor collection of totem poles and take in the beauty of this architectural gem and its spectacular setting on the banks of the Ottawa River. Later we check into our hotel for a two night stay. The balance of the evening is at your leisure. (B)

Day 3 Gatineau, QC
Your morning begins with a delicious full buffet breakfast before we set out on a guided tour of our Nation’s Capital. Throughout our tour you will see highlights such as the Supreme Court of Canada, the Residence of the Prime Minister and of the Governor General, the National Gallery of Canada and so much more including a leisurely walk with your guide for a close up look around Parliament Hill. The tour will end at Rideau Mall/Byward Market where you have the opportunity to have lunch on your own and explore this historic area. Later, we walk across the street to Ottawa Boat Cruises and set out on a 90 minute cruise along the Rideau Canal. Hear historical facts pertaining to the building of the canal as you take in the sights along the way. After the cruise we head off to Tuckers Marketplace for fabulous buffet dinner (included) before returning to the hotel for a relaxing evening. (B,D)

Day 4 Home
Breakfast is included before continuing through the scenic Kawartha Region and we continue our travels toward home. Hope you have enjoyed your visit to our Nation’s Capital and former Capital. (B)
