Day 1 Cornwall
We begin our adventure on the fjords of Québec by travelling east to Cornwall for our first overnight stay. A welcome dinner tonight. (D)

Day 2 Québec City
This morning, a short drive takes us to Morrisburg and Upper Canada Village. Start your adventure into Canada’s pre-Confederation past by visiting the Discovery Centre, a state-of-the-art interactive exhibit that tells fascinating stories about life in the 1860s. See an audio-visual show about the national importance of the Battle of Crysler's Farm and the War of 1812 before setting out on your self-guided tour of the village. Using you site map, stroll through the streets of yesterday. Visit over 40 heritage buildings and come face-to-face with a variety of costumed historical interpreters, all eager to chat or demonstrate their roles in 19th century society. Horse-drawn wagon and boat rides are also available at no extra charge. We continue to Québec City for the night. (B)

Day 3 Chicoutimi, QC
This morning we travel through Jacques Cartier National Park into the fjord district to Chicoutimi. The name comes from the Montagnais “Shkoutimeou” which means “the end of the deep waters”. On arrival in Chicoutimi we visit La Pulperie de Chicoutimi, a facility that highlights the significant part this company played in the development of the city and the region at the beginning of the last century. After lunch we travel a short distance to La Baie and the Musée du Fjord. Winner of numerous awards for excellence, the Museum opens the door to the marine world of the Saguenay Fjord. It is also a laboratory, and a place of learning and wonder where the rich history and science of the area is explored. Quebec is well known for its unique variety of cheese. See this on a visit to the Fromagerie Boivin. We return to Chicoutimi for a two-night stay. (B)

Day 4 Chicoutimi, QC
Today we explore the amazing sights of the Saguenay fjords! The scenery is so awe-inspiring! In this beautiful region, nature used its colossal strength to create a magnificent fjord. A short drive takes us to Sainte-Rose-du-Nord, renowned as the Pearl of the Fjord. Here you will have free time to visit this picturesque village. A box lunch is included before setting out on a four hour cruise through the Saguenay Fjords. See the Statue Notre-Dame du Saguenay and hear the legend that gave birth to the concept. Sculpted with pine and covered with thin sheets of lead to protect it from the weather, the statue stands 9 meters tall and weighs more than 3 tons! Navigating the fjord to bay Éternité is where you will see the steepest caps of the Fjord and you will definitely want to keep an eye open for plenty of marine live as we return to La Baie. A set of binoculars might be an asset to your adventure! (B,L)

Day 5 St. Félicien, QC
Today we travel further into the heart of the Saguenay/Lac Saint-Jean region to Val Jalbert Historical Village for a journey into the heart of the 1920s! Experience life as it was in a genuine company town complete with forty original period buildings. The convent-school, general store and pulp mill abound in secrets that will be revealed by many colourful characters. You will also see the 236ft Ouiatchouan waterfall before we continue along the shores of Lac Saint Jean to the community of St. Félicien. Enjoy and afternoon visit to the St. Felicien Planetarium. Dinner is included this evening at the hotel. (B,D)

Day 6 Montréal, QC

Here we visit a unique museum dedicated not to a Prime Minister but to the gifts given to Jean Chrétien during his 10 years as Prime Minister.
This incredible collection highlights Canada's place in the world. As well, the items offer a portal into the arcane world of diplomatic gift-swapping. The $2.6 million facility includes over 700 pieces from dignitaries and heads of state, including a clock from the Queen and a wall hanging from Nelson Mandela, along with offerings from Canadians. We continue to Montréal for the night. A farewell dinner is included this evening. (B,D)

This is one of the most complete itineraries that offers incredible Yukon and Alaska scenery. The secret to this tour is the amazing visit to Dawson City and the amazing experience of travelling the Top of the World highway! When travelling to Alaska do it right and include Dawson City!!

Vikings and folklore, jigs and reels and Cod tongues and Screech; combine this with awe-inspiring scenery and top it off with a heartwarming dialect and you have the threads that make up a colourful cultural tapestry known as Newfoundland Labrador Our adventure begins with a flight from Pearson International Airport to St. John’s Newfoundland where we are met by your Newfoundland tour director and taken to our hotel for a three night stay.

St. John’s is one of the oldest communities in North America, founded over 500 years ago by Giovanni Caboto a.k.a. John Cabot. During our time here we visit Signal Hill for an outstanding view of the city as well as the seemingly endless ocean. A Boat Cruise takes us to the Bird Island Sanctuary where you see Gannets and terns and watch as delightful Puffins pop out of the water like tiny corks.
