Day 1 Nappanee, IN
Today we cross the border and travel across the scenic farmlands of central Michigan on our way to Nappanee, IN. This evening, a full Threshers dinner followed by the production of Plain and Fancy at the Round Barn Theatre. This quaint musical comedy tells of a New Yorker and his sophisticated girlfriend who drive down to Lancaster, PA to sell a piece of property. Here they meet Amish folk, whose convoluted English speech, clothes and habits haven't changed for centuries. Aug departure performance will Copacabana. Barry Manilow's unforgettable hit song is brought to life onstage in this entertaining nightclub spectacle. Overnight in Nappanee. (D)

Day 2 Moline, IL
This morning we travel to Fair Oaks Farms, one of the largest dairy farms in the US covering 25,000 acres and housing 32,000 cows producing 2.5 million pounds of milk each day. During our Dairy Adventure tour we hop on the “Cow Bus” for a trip through the free stall barns; see the massive milking turntable and visit the Birthing Barn where 80 to 100 calves are born each day! They are not only committed to educating the public about modern farming efforts, but also to protecting the environment, bringing Reduce, Reuse, Recycle to a whole new light. Lunch is on your own here before we continue to Moline IL. We check in for a three night stay. (B)

Day 3 Moline, IL
This morning we travel to Dixon IA. It's here where John Deere set up his small blacksmith shop in 1837 and worked long days over an anvil to create the first commercially successful steel plow. We’ll go back in time to the beginning at the John Deere Historic Site and relive those simpler days. See a faithful replica of the original blacksmith shop, walk the grounds and tour the original Deere family home. During our stay in Moline there will be opportunities to visit the John Deere Pavilion, offering a unique experience for every brand fan who walks through the door. Here you can touch the machines and climb in the Cab! (B)

Day 4 Moline, IL
Today we travel to Waterloo, IA for a behind the scenes look at how John Deere machines are brought to life in some of the most modern and efficient factories in the world. You’ll see various stages of the manufacturing process and hear how all the pieces come together to meet the needs of feeding the world! On the way back to Moline we stop at Cinnamon Ridge Farms for a down home farm to table dinner. This unique experience allows us the opportunity to meet and speak with some of Eastern Iowa’s finest farmers. Later we return to Moline. (B,D)

Day 5 Elkhart, IN
